It's not too late to contribute to an IRA

For those in the USA, remember - it's not too late to stash away some money for retirement for the 2006 tax year! If you get a Roth IRA, you don't have to do anything on your taxes (since it's paid for with post-tax money). I'm guessing many of you will not have the money spare, but for those of you who do, please consider it. Money does you little good sitting in a current account, or savings at 2%. You could also consider setting up a regular payment for 2007.

If you need some fund guidance, here are some some popular choices. Be aware that the value of your investment may go down as well as up. Over time, though, stocks tend to go up more than down.
